Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office to create a great first impression of our team.
Manage front‑office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records.
Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers in the office.
File patient insurance claims, verify benefits, and follow up on outstanding claims.
Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivables.
Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
Partner with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.

About Metro Dentalcare Bass Lake Metro Dentalcare Bass Lake is a unique Heartland Dental supported office serving its local community.
Team of 15 collaborators.
Compensation: $23–$25 per hour.
Schedule:
Monday: Off
Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Thursday: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience working in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Access to PHI and completion of HIPAA training as required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience
1+ years in a dental or medical setting.
1+ years with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Availability for virtual or in‑person training sessions as needed.
Tuberculosis (TB) test required for all new hires in dental office positions.
