Senior Capture Manager role at KBR, Inc. BELONG. CONNECT. GROW. with KBR! At KBR, we define the future. Our team is actively hiring a Senior Capture Manager. The Capture Lead will be responsible for developing, maturing and winning new business within the Federal Civilian space, supporting Civilian Agency mission and technology programs. Specific Federal Civilian agencies include DHS, ICE, DOJ, DOT, etc. Primary work location is Fulton, MD with assigned customers based across the US. Position can be 100% remote depending on location. Approximately 20-40% of work time will be travel to client locations. Responsibilities
Capture ownership of assigned opportunities in support of KBR’s growth mission and vision Management and execution of the full BD life-cycle across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals Routinely assign 2-3 large ($100M+) solicitation pursuits at various stages of the capture lifecycle in the federal market Conceptualize a winning strategy, develop a capture plan with win themes, discriminators, and scorable strengths; drive capture activities and teams to achieve the strategy through final proposal submission Plan, lead, and execute capture activities, including: Develop a healthy pipeline of new opportunities Qualify and assess win-ability of opportunities Develop knowledge of customer requirements and lead solutioning/planning with the capture team Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements and strategy Lead milestone/gate reviews, capture sessions, and proposal reviews Lead competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts Lead development and submission of white papers, RFIs, and other proposal artifacts Apply capture management best practices and disseminate capture artifacts Brief capture status to senior management at key milestones Creating winning solutions and winning large new business programs Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years total experience, including 10+ years in industry and 6+ years in business development Experience winning new business, single award contracts valued over $200M Bachelor’s degree-equivalent related experience accepted in lieu of degree Demonstrable history of winning large prime, single award, non-IDIQ contracts Ability to work with senior business and government leaders and provide leadership Working knowledge of a mature capture organization targeting space and engineering support Ability to drive profitable financial outcomes with understanding of indirect rates and LOE/BOE development Proven success in business development, capture management, program management, civil space programs, civilian federal programs, acquisition processes, opportunity identification and qualification Demonstrated leadership in services-centric organizations to develop and execute significant capture activities Compensation
Basic Compensation : $175,800 - $263,700 The offered rate will be based on contract affordability and candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience Additional Compensation : Bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation per internal policy or contract designation; may include sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short/long-term incentives, or discretionary payments Notes
