Position Summary As part of the General Counsel and Ethics, Risk, & Compliance Program Management Office, the successful candidates will play an important role in managing and supporting several cross‑functional programs across PG&E, including:
Lean implementation across General Counsel and Ethics, Risk, & Compliance, through enhancing operating review dashboards via Excel, Power BI, and other platforms, and supporting our organization's visual management and waste elimination projects
Enhancing our reporting structure to deliver our commitments on time and providing feedback to functional areas to change future behaviors based on lessons learned
Leading operational and process improvement projects and programs to ensure deliverables are on time and client expectations are met.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks, risk analyses, be comfortable leading cross‑functional teams, managing critical portfolio activities, providing strategic and analytical insight, leading the development of new processes and procedures, communicating with leadership at all levels, developing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as developing and managing governance processes.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.
PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location.
The decision will be made on a case‑by‑case basis related to these factors.
This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
A Reasonable Salary Range Bay Area - $122,000-$173,800
Job Responsibilities
Manage major cross‑functional projects and initiatives and ensure programs are operating effectively
Solve unique and complex problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions
Lead development of program goals and metrics to support PG&E's purpose, virtues, and standards
Collaborate across organization to ensure alignment of goals and track attainment of program metrics/objectives
Actively participate in the preparation and execution of leadership meetings, ensure discussions remain on track and commitments are delivered upon
Manage relationships cross‑functionally and provide direction to internal and external resources
Develop, measure and report on success of programs including project plans to identifying catch‑back plans where more support is required
Develop and/or implement policies and procedures
Handle confidential matters and is comfortable pushing back and speaking up
Lead integration of portfolio activities with Lean operating model
Lead tracking of risk interdependencies and mitigation activities
Manage annual plan, including progress tracking, reporting, health indicators, and operating reviews
Develop intake process for emergent activities
Lead change management activities, including coordination and communications
Support outreach activities across operational lines of business
Qualifications Minimum
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business
8 years of related experience or equivalent
Desired
Strong working knowledge of Power BI/Tableau and other reporting tools/platforms
Experience building and maintaining operational dashboards
A customer service oriented disposition with experience interfacing with functional area leaders
Master's degree
PMP Certification
Prior experience in risk analyses, quantification
