Call Center Representative - Ridgeland, MS
at Gainwell, you will help improve health outcomes by assisting clients and members with healthcare inquiries. You will team with professionals who thrive on solving healthcare challenges. Here are the details of this position. Your role in our mission
Respond to inbound calls from providers and members regarding Medicaid and healthcare inquiries. Support web portal navigation, including login and password assistance. De-escalate dissatisfied callers with empathy and effectiveness. Handle complex tasks independently within established processes. Use information systems and knowledge management tools to provide accurate information. Document all calls promptly and accurately. Prioritize and resolve most inquiries independently, escalating complex issues as needed. Stay informed about Medicaid and healthcare policy updates. Maintain call quality standards to ensure an excellent provider experience. Manage call times to meet service level goals. Comply with contractual, legal, and industry regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. What we're looking for
High school diploma or GED required. At least three years of customer service experience. Experience collaborating with internal departments. Familiarity with fax machines, phone systems, and software applications. Complete Harver Assessment as part of the interview process to evaluate communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. What you should expect in this role
This position is onsite in Ridgeland, MS. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. Training lasts approximately 3 weeks. Video cameras are required during interviews and the first week of orientation. #LI-ONSITE #LI-JA1 #LI-CM1 The salary range for this position is [[salaryMin]]-[[salaryMid]] per year, with variations based on location, experience, and other factors.
