Essential Job Duties
Supports wide-ranging issues pertaining to daily functions of charter schools’ federal program budgets and expenditures.
Prepares monthly reports to assist Federal Programs in auditing and monitoring budgets and expenditures.
Serves as the liaison between Finance, Federal Programs, and School Innovation.
Analyzes annual Federal Programs completion reports to ensure expenditures are accounted for and in compliance.
Audits and processes charter schools’ federal program requisitions, purchase orders, and payments.
Tracks charter schools’ federal program expenditures.
Assists in ensuring that charter schools’ federal program expenditures are compliant and audit-ready for state monitoring.
Researches and reviews charter schools’ open federal program purchase orders and assists with invoices for audit purposes.
Communicates with divisions, departments, and schools regarding approved federal program budgets and all expenditures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent completed college coursework from a Professional Standards Commission-approved accredited college or university required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Education, or closely related area from a Professional Standards Commission-approved accredited college or university preferred.
Minimum three (3) years of related industry experience required.
Experience working with Federal Programs and grants, or closely related experience preferred.
