Job Description Summary This role oversees and manages the performance and profitability of a property portfolio within a designated region. Responsibilities include developing property management strategies, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and optimizing financial returns. The Regional Property Manager leads property management teams, collaborates with stakeholders, and stays informed on regional real estate market trends. This is a remote position supporting a portfolio in Central and Eastern United States. Ideal Candidate:
Regional Property Manager with a strong off-campus student housing background, client-ready on day one. Must thrive in high-accountability environments, lead through others, and drive operational, team, and client success. Focus is on results, not just metrics. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure portfolio and community performance meet operational, financial, and business goals through inspections, report reviews, and action plans. Collaborate with Community Managers to achieve performance targets. Work with regional support teams to improve asset and team performance. Implement operational initiatives, champion change, and ensure adherence to protocols. Manage budgets to meet or exceed financial targets. Prepare and present performance, financial, and market trend reports. Build positive tenant relationships and address concerns promptly. Implement tenant retention strategies to reduce turnover. Coordinate with leasing teams on marketing and occupancy efforts. Oversee maintenance and ensure properties meet standards and regulations. Conduct inspections, communicate needs for capital improvements, and implement preventative maintenance. Stay current with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance. Identify risks and ensure proper insurance coverage. Conduct market research for property improvements and market trend insights. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred. Leadership experience managing diverse properties. Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, Real Page preferred). Strong financial, analytical, communication, and team management skills. Knowledge of real estate laws and market trends. Minimum 3 years relevant experience. Skills:
Real estate license preferred in specific markets. Industry certifications (CPM, CAPS, CAM) preferred. Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000. Additional Compensation:
Bonuses based on performance, with eligibility varying by role and location. Benefits include:
