This position is responsible for being the first point of contact for patients in a busy medical office. Duties include managing phones, screening calls, confirming and rescheduling appointments, coordinating patient files, and ensuring proper documentation. The role requires ensuring patients are seen promptly and smoothly managing the flow of the center. Manage phones, screen calls, confirm and reschedule appointments. Coordinate patient files and ensure proper documentation. Greet patients warmly and guide them through initial steps. Obtain authorizations for medical patients. Scan and enter insurance information accurately. Audit invoices, research discrepancies, and process payments. Address payment issues proactively. Enhance customer value and resolve issues fairly and promptly. Prepare charts for upcoming appointments. Assist patients with paperwork and explain the process clearly. Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms. Preferred: 2+ years ophthalmology or healthcare experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Passion for providing excellent patient service. Salary: USD $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. Details
