Job Description: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Performs clinical services to individual clients, including administering assessments such as substance use disorder assessment, biopsychosocial assessment, risk assessment, American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Dimensions, Substance Use Disorder Diagnosis, and other indicated assessment tools. Maintains and completes accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical records. Determines level of care recommendations to other clinical staff based on ASAM Dimensions. Collaborates with medical and nursing staff to provide holistic evaluations. Works with the Utilization Management Department to obtain necessary authorizations for client care. Attends and participates in staff meetings, treatment planning meetings, case conferences, and clinical seminars, providing information related to program administration and development as needed. Formulates clinical diagnoses for both substance abuse and mental health conditions. EDUCATION Master's degree in Social Work and licensed as a Certified Social Worker (CSW). Alternatively, a master's degree in a social services field with certification or licensure in a relevant area (e.g., LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, Marriage and Family Therapy Associate). Agency offers internal training with all necessary credentialing CEUs provided. Understanding of Kentucky's laws and regulations regarding clinical practices. EXPERIENCE Three to six months of related internship or practicum experience. Knowledge of mental and physical characteristics of the applicable population, psychotherapy, human behavior, treatment modes, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, etc. Familiarity with community resources and SCS services. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS No unusual physical demands. May involve occasional exposure to threats of bodily harm from clients or their families. May require tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue on an occasional basis. Time Type:
