About Us Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a multi‑campus, baccalaureate and graduate degree granting public institution, is the most affordable public state university in Georgia. MGA has five campuses—Macon, Cochran, Dublin, Eastman, and Warner Robins—all located in central Georgia—and global outreach through its fully‑online campus. Job Summary The student will be responsible for answering general questions, assisting with basic financial transactions, student account maintenance, record keeping, and customer service to students regarding their tuition and fees. Other duties may be assigned as needed throughout the semester.

Responsibilities

Perform clerical or data entry tasks and file important documents accordingly.

Prepare outgoing mail as assigned.

Assist in separating and time‑stamping incoming mail for distribution.

Support the front‑office staff, covering the reception area, as needed.

Maintain all work areas in a clean and organized manner.

Maintain his/her academic workload while handling a work‑study job opportunity.

Must be dependable and prompt.

Must adhere to the code of confidentiality.

Be cordial to all students, staff, faculty and visitors entering the office.

Required Qualifications

Minimum GPA of 2.0

Be currently enrolled student at Middle Georgia State University for at least 6 credit hours

Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Must have knowledge of computers and different software programs.

Any prior job experience in an office environment is helpful, but not necessary.

Students are required to retain Family Education Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) confidentiality.
