Self Regional Healthcare . Self Regional Healthcare is seeking a highly organized, outgoing, and detail-oriented candidate to join our Marketing & Communications team as the
Events and Sponsorship Coordinator (ESC) . This position helps connect the Self Regional brand to the community through strategic sponsorships and dynamic event planning across our seven-county service area. The ESC will manage sponsorship relationships, community outreach events, and branded presence at external and internal engagements, promoting healthcare awareness and building strong community ties. Responsibilities
Sponsorship Coordination
Manage all incoming sponsorship and donation requests from community partners, schools, sports teams, nonprofits, and event organizers. Evaluate and prioritize sponsorship opportunities to align with strategic marketing goals and available budget. Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsored entities, maintaining positive, professional relationships. Track sponsorship deliverables (e.g., banners, logos, public mentions) and ensure SRH branding is appropriately displayed. Oversee execution of sponsorship agreements and support documentation for compliance and reporting. Event Planning & Execution
Plan, coordinate, and execute Self Regional-branded participation in community events, such as: High school/college athletics events Local festivals and fundraisers Nonprofit golf tournaments and concerts Health fairs, expos, and community wellness events Physician-led lunch-and-learns and community education opportunities Organize logistics for on-site setup, staffing, branded tents/booths, giveaways, and printed materials. Coordinate internal participation including clinicians, volunteers, and support staff. Create and maintain an annual event calendar and activation checklist. Budget & Administrative Oversight
Manage and track the annual sponsorship and events budget. Maintain detailed records of sponsorship outcomes, event reports, and post-event feedback. Produce routine reports and presentations to communicate performance and ROI to leadership. Brand & Community Representation
Act as a brand ambassador for SRH, ensuring brand visibility, consistency, and professionalism at every public-facing opportunity. Collaborate with other marketing staff to integrate events with ongoing campaigns, social media, and content strategies. Foster positive relationships with a wide array of community stakeholders, including nonprofit leaders, schools, civic organizations, and vendors. Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Sports Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality or related field. Minimum 2 years experience in event coordination, community relations, sponsorship administration, or a related marketing function. Experience working with nonprofits, healthcare, or public institutions is a strong plus. Technical & Administrative Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and event management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Eventbrite, or similar). Experience with budget management and vendor coordination. Familiarity with CRM or sponsorship tracking platforms is beneficial. Soft Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with a wide range of internal stakeholders and community partners. Excellent organizational and time management abilities; thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Confident, polished public presence with attention to detail. Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and teamwork. Additional Requirements
Must be able to work evenings or weekends occasionally based on event schedules. Must be able to travel within the SRH service area and transport event supplies and materials (valid driver’s license required).
