As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning memorable experiences for our team members. What You Will Be Doing

Coordinate and Execute: Own the planning and execution of up to five company engagement events each year from concept to completion.

Detailed Planning: Create comprehensive timelines, agendas, and schedules for seamless event execution.

Secure Event Spaces: Book appropriate spaces, review contracts, and finalize logistics for successful events.

Collaborate On-Campus: Partner with various teams to ensure all event needs are met through effective communication and meetings.

Develop Content: Create documentation for event assets and work with the Internal Marketing team for promotional materials.

Communication Plans: Develop and implement communication strategies for event-related announcements.

Manage Budgets: Research vendors, order supplies, and maintain event budgets while tracking expenses.

Post-Event Evaluation: Gather feedback post-event to assess success and identify areas for improvement.

Support the Team: Collaborate with the Events and Engagement team, assisting wherever needed.

Handle Administrative Tasks: Manage all administrative responsibilities related to event planning, including contracts and logistics.

Must Have Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in event coordination or similar role.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities.

Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique event concepts.

Team player with a positive mindset and adaptability under changing circumstances.

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

High school diploma; on-site attendance required in Pontiac, MI.

Nice To Have Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of current trends in event planning.

Experience managing budgets and staffing timelines.

Creative or graphic design skills.

Advanced knowledge of Excel (functions, pivot tables).
