Overview
LHH is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Litigation Paralegal to support its insurance defense practice, particularly within the construction defect space. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including pre-filing, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial procedures. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational abilities, a comprehensive understanding of litigation workflows, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal support in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys in all phases of case management and trial preparation Summarize medical, employment, and deposition records Assist with discovery processes and document production Prepare subpoenas and manage the collection of records (medical, employment, workers’ compensation, etc.) Coordinate with expert witnesses and prepare materials for review Organize and prepare exhibits, witness files, and trial documents Analyze and organize opposing party document productions Redact sensitive information from various records Maintain detailed chronologies and case files Qualifications
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and trial preparation Familiarity with trust accounting guidelines and compliance Experience with bank reconciliations Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with legal document management systems preferred Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to a 40-hour workweek (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) Details
Employment Type: Direct Hire Compensation: up to $80,000 annually Benefits provided by the firm include medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401k, and PTO.
