We are seeking professionals who are ready to hit the ground running. Per Diem will be offered for travel beyond 60 miles. Travel locations include Dallas, TX / Austin, TX / Brownsville, TX. Work hours range from 50-70 hours per week. Immediate start required.

Responsibilities

At the direction of the client, perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Submit to the client technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition. Provide the client with technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment as required for safe operation within stated operating parameters for durations specified by the client. Provide technical input to the client as required for welding and metallurgical issues. Provide technical guidance on the application of non-destructive examination techniques and procedures. Fully comply with all Acuren and client safe work practices and actively participate in site safety initiatives. Willingness to travel if needed.

Qualifications

CWI Certification (Certification of Welding Inspector). API 510/570 certifications are preferred; API 653 is a plus. 5–10 years of experience or 2+ years on-site experience. In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards. Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.
