The RFID Lab at Auburn University is looking for motivated, hard-working, and detail-oriented students from various disciplines to perform RFID in-store testing and audits. This position will primarily involve fieldwork at local partner locations. Fieldwork includes activities such as: RFID tag audits, barcode audits, RFID cycle counts.
Essential Functions
The student will perform data collection tests to investigate the performance of large-scale RFID deployments. The team responsibilities include RFID tagging items in a retail environment and then doing tests with a RFID reader to determine the quality and readability of the tags. Students will also be performing in-store barcode/inventory audits. Students may occasionally participate in in-lab demonstrations and testing Students may occasionally travel to partner locations outside of the Auburn/Opelika area

Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled student at Auburn University Must have reliable transportation to and from partner locations outside of regular business hours Must have ability to work weekday evenings Technically capable with ability to quickly become familiar with new hardware, software, and processes.
Preferred Qualifications Pay Rate Starting at $15.00/hour Work Hours 20 City position is located in: Auburn State position is located: Alabama
