What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Provide professional and courteous customer service to Arizona taxpayers by answering all incoming calls and addressing inquiries

Document customer interactions accurately and efficiently in the department's ticketing system and databases

Stay current on laws, regulations, and best practices related to taxation through ongoing education and research

Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Assist in maximizing work processes by providing recommendations for process improvements based on lean principles

What is Required (Qualifications)

High School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Degree (GED)

Minimum of one year of related experience in customer service

Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills

Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and collaboratively as part of a team

Proficient in using PC/laptop in a Windows environment and Google Suite applications

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience with Continuous Improvement/LEAN methodologies

Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment

Bilingual in English and Spanish
