LeeTran is looking for a proactive and creative Administrative Support Specialist to join our support team! This position offers a perfect balance of technical, administrative, and customer service responsibilities—ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, team‑based environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service & Support: You’ll be the go‑to person for both internal and external customers, providing helpful information, answering questions, and assisting applicants and staff.
Organizational Excellence:
Maintain and update confidential records, spreadsheets, and electronic files with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Manage department inventory, including uniforms and office supplies, ensuring everything is well‑stocked and in order.
Assist with preparing requisitions and performing fiscal reconciliations for invoice processing.
Scheduling & Coordination:
Coordinate meetings and interviews, managing calendars and using various platforms to keep everyone on track.
Help with onboarding new hires, including completing applicant paperwork and ensuring smooth transitions for all new team members.
Workflow Management: Follow clear and consistent processes for presentation, selection, ordering, and accurate receiving and distribution of materials.
Special Projects & Event Planning: Be a part of special projects and help organize events that bring the team together!
Policy & Procedure Support: Explain and interpret policies and procedures for staff, ensuring everyone is aligned with LeeTran’s goals.
Education, Experience, Licensing
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in clerical work, customer service, or a similar role.
Equivalent Combination
Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to the above requirements may be considered.
Licensing
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding organizational abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general office equipment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with human resources‑related tasks, including onboarding and applicant management.
Ability to type 45 words per minute.
A positive attitude and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
Supplemental Information
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
