We are growing, and we need an experienced probate paralegal with a minimum of five years of experience, an amazing attitude, and an ability to demonstrate vast empathy for clients. A qualified candidate will have experience drafting probate petitions, drafting other probate documents, preparing notices to debtors and creditors, tracking probate matter progress, and communicating with court personnel. Responsibilities: • Review and organize client documents • Communicate with clients regarding information and documents needed to complete probate petitions • Draft probate petitions and other probate pleadings • Provide detailed review and proofreading of documents to ensure proper formatting, grammar, punctuation, and spelling • Manage the workflow of cases • Learn other areas of practice • Support other staff members as needed to ensure all clients receive an excellent client experience • Interface with clients, providing excellent customer service Qualifications: • Five years of experience as a probate paralegal • Proficient with Microsoft Office • Proficient with practice management software • Extensive knowledge of probate court forms and rules • Ability to show empathy to clients and put them at ease • Attention to detail • Enjoy being in a dynamic job where no task is above or below you • Willingness to become proficient in the firm’s other areas of practice Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly
