The Mayor's office is the focal point of Aurora City government and contact with the Aurora business community, schools, and residents. The Executive Assistant to the Mayor provides both gatekeeper and gateway duties to facilitate access to the Mayor. The position manages the general operations of the Mayor’s office and performs advanced administrative support to the Mayor and her directors. The position is responsible for providing highly complex, sensitive, and oftentimes confidential support and serves as a liaison with internal and external constituents. This position also co-manages the Administrative Coordinator position located at City Hall.
PLEASE NOTE: Although the position does provide administrative support to the Mayor, it is not clerical in nature.
