JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Sexual Assault Forensic Examination Telehealth (SAFE-T) Center at Penn State's Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing seeks a part-time Administrative Assistant to support research, education, and outreach initiatives focused on improving forensic nursing care for survivors of sexual violence. Job Duties Administrative Support:

Calendar management, correspondence, proofreading, purchasing, and event coordination. Communications:

Create presentations, update marketing materials, manage website content and social media. Meeting Coordination:

Schedule meetings/webinars, prepare agendas, take minutes, and manage follow-up. Outreach Support:

Coordinate with partners, submit conference abstracts, research stakeholders. Project Support:

Documentation, inventory management, training preparation, and process improvement. Requirements and Qualifications Necessary Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and web/creative tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress preferred) Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication Comfortable learning new computer software and technology Experience with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams) The Ideal Candidate: Is a self-starter and motivated individual Has strong problem-solving abilities Is detail-oriented Seeks to deliver high-quality work Is adaptable, flexible About Our Program: The SAFE-T Center at Penn State, and its corresponding sexual assault forensic telehealth program (SAFE-T System), seeks to enhance specialty sexual assault forensic exam care in rural and underserved communities. Our nurse-led program is based out of the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing and housed at University Park, PA. We began in 2016 with a US Department of Justice Office of Victims of Crime grant and have since grown and expanded the program beyond Pennsylvania. We seek talented, hard-working individuals to join our mission-driven team in making a difference in forensic nursing care.
