Veterinary Technician

Animal Hospital of Gordon County is seeking a motivated, experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our well-established, multi-doctor practice. If you thrive in a team-oriented setting and love helping pets and people, we’d love to hear from you! What You’ll Do: In this role, you'll be an essential part of our medical team, helping provide top-quality care to our patients and support to their owners. Responsibilities include: Handling and restraining dogs and cats for exams and procedures Assisting veterinarians with blood draws, surgical procedures, and radiographs Walking dogs and cleaning kennels Maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment Educating clients on pet care and answering questions Taking phone calls and supporting front desk needs as necessary What We’re Looking For: Previous veterinary experience is required LVT certification or A.S. in Veterinary Technology is a plus (but not required) Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure A love for animals and a team-focused attitude Why You’ll Love Working With Us: We are a close-knit team that truly cares about one another and our community.
