Full-Time - 30 hrs / Part-Time TMC is a therapy provider that offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to long-term care providers. Responsibilities

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. Your expertise covers a wide range of skills aimed at improving speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing abilities. The primary responsibilities include: Assessment and Diagnosis:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessments, clinical observations, and diagnostic tools to identify communication challenges and determine severity, leading to accurate diagnoses. Treatment Planning and Intervention:

Develop personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs and goals. Design therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve speech production, language comprehension and expression, social communication, voice quality, and swallowing. Therapeutic Interventions:

Implement various therapies, including articulation drills, language exercises, cognitive-communication tasks, voice therapy, fluency strategies, and management protocols, providing personalized instruction and feedback. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC):

Assess the need for AAC systems and devices, collaborating with patients, families, and caregivers to customize solutions that support communication and participation. Dysphagia Management:

Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders through assessments, exercises, strategies, diet modifications, and rehabilitation techniques to ensure safe swallowing and adequate nutrition. Qualifications

Master’s Degree in an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Current license/certification in the state of practice Keywords: CCC-SLP, Clinical, Therapy, Language Disorder, Articulation, Aphasia, Swallowing Rehabilitation, Cognitive-Communication, Fluency.
