Overview

The University of Florida College of Medicine and UF Health seek a Thoracic Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology. The department is expanding to meet growing patient care needs and to advance the academic missions, including education at all levels and independent and collaborative research. Academic rank and track will be determined based on the applicant’s academic achievements and experience. Minimum requirements include, M.D., D.O.; fellowship in thoracic imaging; and eligibility for licensure in Florida. Board certification in Radiology (ABR, AOBR) is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities

Regular shifts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday coverage. Remote work is around 25% with most on-calls covered remote. Plain film radiography, CT, and MR interpretation (including cardiac or Aortic CTA). Engage in clinical and imaging operations, education, training, and faculty development. Support research and innovation, potentially serving as PI or Co-I on grants and clinical trials. Represent the Department on various committees. Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

The Division of Thoracic Imaging specializes in all facets of thoracic imaging, particularly oncology, interstitial lung disease, and critical in-patient care.
