to join the Jaklenec Group to develop injectable drug delivery systems for vaccines and therapeutics, focusing on mRNA-lipid nanoparticles. Responsibilities: Design, fabricate, and characterize drug delivery materials. Conduct rigorous testing using animal models. Fabricate and characterize lipid nanoparticles using DLS, TEM, NMR, zeta potential analysis, and HPLC. Assess mRNA stability and loading capacity. Administer injections (intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intraperitoneal) in mice and rats. Perform in-vivo imaging and analyze bio-samples (blood, tissue, organ homogenates) using qPCR, ELISA, and fluorescence imaging. REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, material science, engineering, or related field; a minimum of two years of relevant lab experience, which may include experience gained as an undergraduate; willingness to work with animals; experience in drug delivery, biomaterials, molecular biology, or related fields; robust documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills. PREFERRED:

Masters degree in a relevant field; experience with histology, flow cytometry, micro molding, lipid nanoparticle synthesis, and drug delivery material characterization. Job #24904 Date:
