Overview
This position will focus on the analysis and design of water and wastewater infrastructure to include gravity and pressure sanitary sewer mains, water transmission mains, and pumping systems. The successful candidate will be leading the technical execution and delivery of projects and tasks ranging from water and wastewater system assessments and master planning, asset inventory and management, water/wastewater hydraulic studies, water/wastewater transmission main extensions, pump station design, design and preparation of construction documents, and construction administration. Responsibilities
Lead the technical execution and delivery of projects and tasks related to water and wastewater infrastructure. Perform water and wastewater system assessments and master planning. Manage asset inventory and asset management programs. Conduct hydraulic studies for water and wastewater systems. Plan and design water/wastewater transmission main extensions and pump stations. Prepare construction documents and oversee construction administration. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering, required Education:
Master’s Degree is a plus Experience:
4 - 8 years of work experience in a similar position DESIRED SKILLS:
Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of and experience with design of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, such as collection systems, pump stations, and closed conduit systems Software:
Proficient use of hydraulic modeling software such as PCSWMM, EPANET, and WaterCAD GIS:
Extensive knowledge and capabilities with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, Survey 123, and Field Maps CAD:
Detailed experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software for preparation of construction documents Professional Growth:
A strong desire for continuous professional and personal development and improvement
