Senior Bridge Engineer
for their team in
Des Moines ! Responsibilities: Prepare high-level project design Review project documents and design quality for complex projects Provide technical guidance to team members to solve complex problems Perform QA/QC to ensure completed designs meet quality standards Conduct scope and complexity research Lead staff on design approach Develop standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities Mentor and train junior staff Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering Master’s degree or in pursuit preferred 6+ years of relevant engineering experience Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge, Lpile, SPColumn, or MDX) Expertise with DOT bridge projects Knowledge of MicroStation software Salary is commensurate with experience.
