Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble
high-quality cabinets, furniture, and millwork based on project specifications. Read and interpret
architectural drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings
to ensure precise craftsmanship. Operate woodworking machinery, including
table saws, jointers, planers, and edge banders . Perform
hand-finishing, sanding, and detailing
to achieve smooth surfaces and refined aesthetics. Work with various materials, including
solid wood, veneers, laminates, and composite panels . Ensure projects meet
high-quality craftsmanship standards
and client expectations. Install hardware, hinges, drawer slides, and other components. Maintain a
clean and organized
workspace and follow all
safety procedures . Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other craftsmen to meet deadlines and production goals. Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience
as a Cabinetmaker, Woodworker, or Millworker in a custom cabinetry or furniture shop. Strong understanding of
wood species, grain patterns, and finishing techniques . Ability to
read blueprints and technical drawings
with precision. Proficiency in using
hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery . Experience with
custom joinery, edge banding, and veneer work . Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to unique project requirements. Preferred Qualifications:
Technical training or certification
in woodworking, cabinetry, or a related field. Experience in
high-end residential or commercial millwork . Knowledge of
CNC machining and cabinet software
