Apartment Maintenance Supervisor Are you an experienced maintenance professional ready to supervise and motivate a team to achieve property-specific goals in the multifamily industry? The Apartment Maintenance Supervisor reports to a Property Manager and ensures that apartment homes and facilities in an assigned community are well-maintained and meet standards. Responsibilities include coordinating the maintenance team for repairs and maintenance, responding promptly and courteously to service requests, maintaining an adequate supply of market-ready apartments to meet leasing demand, and ensuring property appearance standards are met or exceeded. The supervisor also assists with hiring, training, and developing maintenance staff, which may include painters and landscaping personnel.
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED and three to five years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, or mechanical repair, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
HVAC experience required.
EPA Type II or EPA Universal license required.
For Florida locations, CAMT license required at hire or by the next professional examination and licensing opportunity.
Valid driver’s license from the state of residence required.
One to three years of supervisory experience preferred.
