Responsibilities

Deliver service execution of the highest quality. Be professional in dealings and communication with the customer. Identify service opportunities and leads and communicate to the responsible GEA personnel. Be the “face” of the organization. Troubleshoot GEA equipment and other manufacturer’s equipment. Perform planned and unplanned services, maintenance, and repairs to equipment of all types and sizes as per applicable GEA SOPs and maintenance manuals. Install and commission equipment. Assist in service project execution activities. Overhaul equipment. Perform tasks as per the defined and strict schedule to meet deadlines. Carry out site visits, audits, and monitor site performance. Gather and classify data using various measuring equipment applicable to the equipment. Read gauges and instruments, and adjust mechanisms such as valves, controls, and pumps to control fluid pressure and distribution in systems. Operate equipment in compliance with legal guidelines. Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical, mechanical, digital, and pneumatic controls. Coordinate with other departments for purposes such as budget expenditures, deadlines, and technical support. Prepare estimates for repairs, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of equipment. Maintain records of repairs and maintenance for future service as per maintenance schedules, governance, legal requirements, and customer requirements. Coordinate work schedules with other departments to minimize inconvenience. Provide technical direction to service personnel. Adhere to all HSE governance of GEA and customers. Qualifications

Experience & Competencies Based on the above-mentioned requirements, candidates have experience in Mechanical, Electrical AC & DC, or Millwright trades. The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $26 - $40 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarant​ee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on factors including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
