Production Supervisor (Machining)

**Production Supervisor – Machining – Technical Glass Products – Snoqualmie, WA**The Production Supervisor – Machining is responsible for leading the machining production area to ensure policy, leadership, quality, on-time, and efficiency performance goals are met. The Machining supervisor is responsible for the team that manages set-up and machining of production, prototype and R&D parts and fixtures. The team works with materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. This role is critical to ensure on-time, high quality delivery of products to our customer. This role provides support to machining employees and collaborates with other department Supervisors for seamless continuation of activities and helps develop employees in their skillsets.Ensure the flow of materials, parts and progress are adequate to meet on-time requirements.Work with the quality team and cross-functional employees to implement efficiency and capacity improvements. 5+ years of manufacturing experience, with 2+ years of leadership experience, such as supervisor, team lead, or other formal people leadership. Strong leadership skills with an ability to manage both personal and team’s workload and to prioritize multiple tasks.Helpful machining knowledge or experience includes working with Haas VF10, punch press, saws; machining to high tolerance, understanding of G-code, ISO 9000 standards. Strong organizational and project management skills combined with close attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to follow all safety requirements and keep work area clean and orderly Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of capacity planning and ERP systems. Attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints, production and technical drawings.Strong math skills. Maintains schedule and tasks despite interruptions.

**Compensation:** This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.* The expected Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000.
