Job Description
Location: Winter Haven, FL (1hr from Orlando)
Interventional Radiologist
Fellowship-trained cross-sectional radiologist in an outpatient setting
Should have expertise in interpreting X-ray, DEXA, CT, MRI, PET CT, and Ultrasound images, etc..
Focus on musculoskeletal and body imaging, and potentially interventional radiology procedures
Perform interventional radiology procedures, such as image-guided biopsies and injections
Schedule: 8am - 5pm - Monday through Friday. ZERO CALL OR WEEKENDS
Interpret and report on a wide range of cross-sectional imaging studies, including X-ray, DEXA, CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, PET CT, and ultrasound.
Provide expert consultations to referring physicians regarding imaging findings and treatment options.
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and case discussions.
Contributes to the development and refinement of imaging protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient imaging studies and reports.
Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and imaging services.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Stay current with advancements in cross-sectional imaging techniques and technologies.
Background Profile
Ability to have a Florida State Medical License
Board-certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
Interventional Radiologist
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
