Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Lab/System: Alice sleep software; Epic EMR

Shifts: 3x12-hour night shifts per week

Baseline Sleep Polysomnography

Alice, Full Face, Nasal Mask, Nasal Pillow

ECG, EEG, End-Tidal CO2, O2 Saturation

Respiratory Inductance Plethysmography (RIP), PSG scoring

Sleep Stages, Transient arousals, Cheyne-Stokes

Infection control, Patient education

Adult and Pediatric Sleep Studies (MWT/MSLT listed in skills)

Unit & Scheduling Details

Unit Details: 4 bed sleep lab; daily census 2-4 patients; 4 beds

Care/Support: Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services

Facility Systems: Pyxis, EPIC

Orientation: 1-2 nights

Scrubs: color not specified

Submittal & Compliance

State License: NY license is required in hand to submit

Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted

Travel Experience: Not required

Background policy: case-by-case basis

Modules: billable up to 5 hours; total module time may reach 10 hours; pre-start

Charting: EPIC experience is a hard requirement

Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks: 91
