Description The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics and Division of Genetics invite applications for a non-tenure eligible clinical faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.
Responsibilities
Staff general genetic and metabolic clinics in Charlottesville and satellite clinics in Winchester, Lynchburg, and Bristol.
Provide shared coverage of the inpatient consultation service.
Respond timely to triage of newborn screening cases.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of genetic counselors, dieticians, genetic counseling assistants, and administrative assistants.
Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. with eligibility for appointment to UVA faculty.
Board‑certified in clinical genetics (biochemical genetics board certification or eligibility preferred).
Preference for candidates with biochemical genetics board certification or eligibility.
Active research interest desirable but not required.
