Radiology / Cardiology - CT Tech
Location Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Contract Duration 13 weeks
Working Hours Night 3x12-Hour schedule (19:45 – 08:15)
Total hours: 36
Schedule
Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
No weekend RTO
For all techs except OR techs: The expected start date is based on schedule but may change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week and must be fully available with no other commitments. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. The final start date will be confirmed the Tuesday prior to the start week.
Required Skills, Certifications & Experience Minimum Years of Experience:
2 years
Traveler experience: Unit will accept first-time travelers.
Locals accepted / rate difference: Yes.
Skills: Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU.
GE & Siemens scanner use is a MUST.
DO NOT SEND IF NO SIEMENS.
Some trauma experience.
CT procedure experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction.
Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT).
Preferred Skills & Certifications
Outpatient, IV starts, PACS, Contrast, Visage.
Job Details
Daily caseload: 150‑200 scans; 4 rooms.
Unit will accept 13 weeks contract.
36 hours can be offered.
No call requirement.
No float requirement.
Scrubs: Royal Blue.
Patient Diagnoses Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.
Special Procedures & Unit Details This unit is in the emergency department on a Siemens scanner handling routine ED patients, Code Stroke, and some trauma patients.
Unit is very fast paced. Typical case load for one tech in an 8‑hour shift is 8–12 patients.
Special Equipment Siemens Scanner (S3000 and Sequoia) and GE.
Unit Systems EPIC, Visage.
