Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:
$30.39 - $39.50 / hour
Offering up to $22,900 in incentives for eligible candidates
Summary Performs all MRI procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the MRI area. Safely operates the scanner and injector in order to produce diagnostic quality MR images. Understands the computer software of the MR scanners and maintains competency in MR area. Consistently applies working knowledge pertaining to MR anatomy and patho-physiology to produce a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a radiologist. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and training. Performs venipuncture for appropriate exams. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed.
Requirements Educational
Graduation of JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography or MRI degree program.
Experience
No experience required.
Radiology or MRI degree graduates accepted.
Licensure (State of Florida)
Florida Radiologic Technologist License for radiology techs only.
MRI degree required for non-radiology techs.
Certifications / Registrations
BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) - Required.
ARRT Registered or eligible required.
