Penn State University Penn State Altoona, a member of the NCAA Division III and Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, is seeking a part-time Athletic Trainer. This is a temporary and as needed position. Hours of expectation will be mainly evenings and weekends. Responsibilities
The Athletic Trainer provides competition coverage and pregame preparation needs of the student-athletes; provide rehabilitation to injured student-athletes; and participate in annual professional development. Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher (Master’s degree preferred) plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Registration or licensures: BOC Certified Athletic Trainer; PA State Licensed Athletic Training; Certified Health Care Provider (CPR/AED). Background Checks / Clearances
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
