As a Special Procedures Technologist II, you will produce high quality radiographs for interventional studies, assist with sterile setup, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures. You will be trained to assist with advanced intervention procedures, including venous access and monitoring sedation and medications during interventions. You will also review patient histories, take necessary precautions to prevent adverse reactions, and follow safety standards to ensure safe, effective care. Job Description
We are looking for a skilled technologist who not only meets all the responsibilities of a registered technologist but also has a strong understanding of sterile techniques, anatomy, and physiology. Youll review patient histories, take necessary precautions to prevent adverse reactions, and follow all safety standards to ensure safe, effective care. In addition to performing standard procedures, youll be trained to assist with advanced intervention procedures, including venous access and monitoring sedation and medications during interventions. Youll also handle patient data, ensure accurate billing and coding, and manage supplies effectively. Graduate of an approved accredited program of Radiologic Technology. ARRT(R)(CV) or ARRT(R)(VI) registered. Current CPR certification State Licensure
Kentucky: KBMIRT Radiation Operators License (Radiography). Indiana: Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) License Radiologic Technologist Specialized Knowledge
Excellent understanding of radiation protection and sterile technique. FLSA Status
