This role supports that mission in the inpatient setting as part of interdisciplinary teams, delivering evidence-based clinical services and maintaining ethical standards of practice. The Behavioral Health Clinician role involves coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to organize, prepare, and deliver clinical services across the continuum of care, while upholding professional ethics and standards of practice. Key Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care: conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, establish care plans, provide case management, care coordination, interdisciplinary collaboration for care transitions, crisis intervention/safety planning, counseling and emotional support to patients and families coping with illness, trauma, or end-of-life care; conduct referrals and discharge planning. Maintain timely patient-centered documentation reflecting assessment, interventions and outcomes in accordance with regulatory licensing requirements and third-party agencies. Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related Human Service field required Previous experience in a healthcare setting required LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A, or CADC required Valid Driver's License required Ability to assess problems, determine solutions and make timely decisions Develops and maintains cultural competence with understanding of diverse client groups and integrates this knowledge into practice Benefits
