Overview
Always Best Care is looking to add a part-time Speech Therapist to our Home Health team. The role provides quality patient care and contributes to the well‑being of individuals needing speech therapy services. We offer competitive pay and value healthy work/life balance. You help people communicate, swallow, and remediate speech, language, and related disorders. You design and deliver rehab plans and train patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.
Responsibilities
Provide speech therapy evaluation, assessment, and treatment to clients in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care, under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Manager. Guide patients in performing exercises and activities. Educate patients and families on exercises and home care techniques. Write professional evaluations and re-assessments with a thorough plan of care and individualized goals for each patient. Requirements / Qualifications
Updated Resume Current license as a Speech Therapist in NM Bachelor’s degree in speech therapy BLS Certification Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a health care facility or equivalent preferred Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Licensed driver with automobile and a good driving record; reliable transportation Current CPR certification Schedule & Work Location
