Posting Description POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE , Koch Institute (KI) for Integrative Cancer Research - Stark Lab, to lead cutting-edge projects to better understand cancer immunology and develop new immunotherapies. The lab projects involve approaches from molecular and synthetic biology, immunology, glycobiology, and biological engineering. Experimental methods include cloning/molecular biology, protein engineering and biochemistry, mammalian cell/tissue culture, flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing, transcriptomics, and animal models of disease. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in exploring a frontier area of immunobiology to impact cancer and immune therapy, working with passionate scientists in an interdisciplinary environment. The Stark Lab values contributions from individuals of all backgrounds and lived experiences. In addition to professional development within the lab, opportunities are available through close ties with MIT, the Ragon and Broad Institutes, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Job Requirements REQUIRED:
Ph.D. in immunology, glycobiology, synthetic biology, or a related field; experience managing independent research projects; a track record of innovation; excellent communication skills; ability to learn quickly, work independently and as part of a team, and collaborate with diverse backgrounds.
PREFERRED:
