Associate Therapist – Full time position in Mount Pleasant, Utah. We provide supervision to help you achieve full licensure.
As our Associate Therapist, you will gain supervision while working as part of one of the most seasoned clinical teams in the industry. You will utilize evidence-based practices combined with experiential therapies to help our students and their families heal. You will also collaborate with our residential staff to deliver the best program possible to our students and their families. We foster healthy relationships, novel and challenging experiences, and a strengths-based approach to support healing and lasting change.
Oxbow Academy is a licensed and accredited program that uses evidence-based practices. As our Associate Therapist, you will provide clinical services for a small number of students individually and in family and group settings. You will work as part of an integrated care team and collaborate with residential staff to deliver the best program possible to our students and their families.
About the population served: students have complex needs that require sensitive, trauma-informed approaches to reduce anxiety, rebuild trust, and support healthy development.
Responsibilities
Carry a caseload of adolescents Provide individual and family therapy for each client Facilitate group therapy sessions Document all services Evaluate clients' emotional, behavioral, and mental states through discussion, observation, and analysis Create psychosocial history and master treatment plan for each client Manage the continuum of care for each client while they are with us Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team Attend treatment team meetings Work closely and collaboratively with residential staff Participate in marketing activities, including occasional travel Develop and maintain relationships with referring professionals Apply for this job. Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work (CSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC), or PhD in Psychology or related field Relationship-focused with a family systems approach Able to pass criminal background checks Able to pass motor vehicle record check Eligible to work in the USA Current Utah driver’s license (within 30 days of employment) 1st Aid & CPR certified (we may provide) ICC certified (we may provide) Benefits
