$7,500 Sign-On Bonus Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities

Evaluate a resident’s condition and develop an appropriate SLP rehabilitation plan. Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance. Inform residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will manage each situation. Maintain resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential. Supervise the activities of CFYs when required. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by protecting residents and employees by adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols. Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Contribute to inter‑disciplinary team efforts in resident care. Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathologist program. Must hold current and active SLP license or registration in state employed or CFY. Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus. Completion of orientation required by company policy. Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment. Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job. Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
