Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 (LSW/LPC) – Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC)
Location: Correction Reception Center, Pickaway County, Ohio
Salary: Approx. $68,000 per year
What You’ll Do
Work under clinical supervision and provide behavioral healthcare programs and techniques to a caseload of mentally ill criminal offenders.
Complete detailed mental health screens, risk assessments, and suicide watch assessments when within scope of practice.
Conduct individual and group clinical interventions as prescribed by treatment plans.
Provide psychosocial group interventions and mental health liaison services.
Complete psychosocial needs and treatment assessments, transfer and discharge summaries.
Consult with other institutional staff regarding inmate adjustment and service needs.
Initiate and maintain contact with families and community agencies.
Provide and seek information related to patient care and treatment, make community referrals, and write reports with electronic documentation.
Attend supervision meetings, in‑service training, and workshops for professional development.
May be asked to provide in-service training to others.
Qualifications
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
Or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) by the same board.
Required license must be documented and current.
Benefits
Starting pay approximately $68,000
