Job Description - Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily operations of the department. Manages all resources in order to meet patient needs, and provides an environment conducive to employee growth. Functions collaboratively and in partnership with senior administration to develop and implement a strategic plan and to meet short and long term goals. Provides guidance, facilitates and works cooperatively with physicians/clinicians, administration and support staff involved in the quality and performance improvement process, including the identification, development, implementation and assessment of clinical quality and patient safety in compliance with accreditation and regulatory agencies. Qualifications

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or closely related field, and three to five years of work related experience. Master’s in Health Care Administration or closely related field preferred. CPHQ certification preferred. Work requires knowledge of federal and state regulations, standards, and practices for an acute care hospital. Work requires analytic ability to resolve problems requiring a professional level of knowledge in a specific discipline/field and to design complex educational, clinical, data processing systems and programs. Must possess strong customer service, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. About Us
