This position involves four shifts of 11a-11p and three shifts of 3p-11p. The role includes providing respiratory care, evaluating patient blood gases, and assisting with emergency procedures in a hospital setting. Minimum Requirements
Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor’s preferred) Current Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential within 1 year for hires post-2004 Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP within specified timeframes Responsibilities
Perform respiratory therapies as per provider orders and protocols Evaluate blood gases and recommend therapy adjustments Assist with emergency procedures including intubation and code blue responses Maintain and manage artificial airways and respiratory equipment Educate patients and families about respiratory care Benefits
