Job Description Operates ultrasonic equipment to produce images of the body\'s organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
Education and Experience
Education: Graduation from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or high school diploma/GED and clinical ultrasound/vascular experience as approved by ARDMS or ARRT in OB/Gyn
Experience: Minimum of one year experience in performing obstetrical ultrasound procedures
Licensure/Certification
Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Obstetrics and Gynecology (RDMS OB/GYN) granted by ARDMS or ARRT in OB/Gyn
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
