As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. In addition to developing your skills, you will mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles. What We Offer

Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility Track and store department inventory Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation Please note that while we strive to accommodate employees' preferences for shift assignments, due to operational requirements and scheduling constraints, we cannot guarantee a specific shift assignment. Front Half Day Shift: Schedule 4 days on, 3 days off. Typically Sunday to Wednesday with a 10-hour shift (e.g., 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM). Back Half Day Shift: Schedule 4 days on, 3 days off. Typically Wednesday to Saturday with daytime hours (e.g., 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM). Front Half Night Shift: Schedule 4 days on, 3 days off. Typically Sunday to Wednesday with night hours (e.g., 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM). Back Half Night Shift: Schedule 4 days on, 3 days off. Typically Wednesday to Saturday with night hours (e.g., 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM). Qualifications
High school or equivalent diploma 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience 2+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment experience 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics experience 2+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience 1+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) experience Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field, or 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Continuous improvement mindset; willingness to learn and grow within Amazon RME Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards 2+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based controls systems Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles; experience with robotic operation and maintenance Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,760/year in our lowest geographic market up to $78,104/year in our highest geographic market.
