Radiology Technologist – Multiple Locations – Physician Practice & Urgent Care

As a Radiology Technologist at Hackensack Meridian Health, you will perform general X‑ray procedures under physician direction, provide excellent patient service, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and state regulations. You will work in an urgent‑care environment where you may be the sole X‑ray tech on site, with the need to float between multiple offices. Responsibilities

Communicate procedures clearly to minimize patient anxiety and ensure safety; document follow‑up instructions. Maintain compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HMH POL Policy Manual; keep required logs. Provide courteous customer service and promote patient satisfaction through friendly interaction. Review charts prior to patient intake; complete accurate, legible documentation; sign charts in timely manner. Demonstrate troubleshooting skills; perform scheduled equipment cleanings/tests and document results. Minimize costly errors in X‑ray technique; ensure equipment is serviced on time. Monitor supply inventory; notify Practice Manager when supplies low; assist with storage and distribution of supplies. Promote patient satisfaction and communicate issues to the Practice Manager. Develop quality film; complete proper forms and enter findings into the database. Verify patient identity; assist patients on/off the X‑ray table; assess safety concerns. Coordinate rooming, vitals, and documentation in EPIC as needed. Perform additional duties or projects as assigned; adhere to HMH competencies and standards. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Graduation from an AMA‑approved School of Radiologic Technology. New Jersey Registered Radiologic Technologist License. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (HCP) certification. Preferred: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Compensation
