More about our team: Kindred Hospital St. Louis South is a 38‑bed long‑term acute care hospital, offering the same in‑depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital but for an extended recovery period, which includes a four‑bed high observation unit for patients who need extra attention. Our unit is a very fast‑paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow.
What we're looking for: We are seeking a dynamic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about helping others and is a team player. The SLP evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement.

Essential Functions
Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Information
Strong communication skills and clinical judgment required.
Education and Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
Experience in an acute or rehabilitation setting preferred.
Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
CPR certification required.
