DBT Therapist
Join Nystrom & Associates, a leading Minnesota provider of dialectical behavior therapy certified by the Department of Human Services (DHS). As a DBT Therapist you will work with a team of DBT-Linehan Board Certified Clinicians to design and implement treatment tailored to patient needs.
Responsibilities
Participate in DBT Consultation team and attend monthly trainings
Conduct mental health diagnostic assessments on new patients
Provide high quality ongoing therapy
Lead weekly DBT Groups
Maintain organized outpatient electronic health records
Coordinate care and collaborate with other professionals
Attend all clinical staff meetings including case and peer reviews
Training & Support Nystrom & Associates provides comprehensive training: FREE Behavioral Tech 5-Day DBT Foundational™ training, intensive 1:1 training with a DBT Lead, ongoing consultation & supervision.
Requirements
Mental Health Professional per Minnesota State Statute 245i.04.02 regulations.
Unrestricted license (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, or LP). Open to considering unlicensed candidates depending on experience.
DBT experience strongly preferred but not required.
Benefits & Compensation Competitive compensation models ranging $37,000 – $112,000 per year depending on schedule. Licensed: $68,000–75,000
Pre-licensed: $50,000–55,000
