PRS Intervention Case Manager

will provide therapeutically focused intensive case management and supportive services to unaccompanied immigrant children released from federal custody. Global Refuge , formerly known as Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS), is a nonprofit serving newcomers seeking safety, support, and a share in the American dream. Benefits medical, dental, vision available the first day of employment, generous paid time off including 20 days of vacation, 12 days of sick leave, 12 paid holidays, 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave and up to 12 weeks of fully paid FMLA leave, company 403(b) contribution of 3%, an additional 7% match which vests immediately, Duties Conduct weekly in person therapeutic support for clients, focused on crisis intervention, safety planning and family preservation. Provide therapeutically centered ongoing intensive case management for especially vulnerable children with special circumstances. Maintain regular and timely communication with supervisor around any issues concerning the child's safety, stability, or well-being in the placement. Submit detailed and thorough documentation in compliance with Global Refuge policies and procedures. Utilize clinically focused interventions as a framework for intensive case management support and social work best practices for ongoing services. Travel by car or public transportation within an assigned region or, in emergent circumstances, occasionally outside that assigned region. Participate in ongoing supervision Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Master's degree in social work, psychology or other relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement; or a bachelor's degree with at least five years of experience in a clinical setting. Licensed, or eligible for licensure. Ability to travel to home visits and other service agencies to serve the client, either by own vehicle or by public transportation. Availability of a vehicle that meets safety and mechanical requirements for travel within an assigned radius. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. CBT certification, trauma focused CBT preferred Commitment to Global Refuge's core mission and values and an ability to model those values in relationship with colleagues and partners. Special Position Requirements Must be willing and able to clear a criminal background check Must be willing and able to request and clear Child Abuse and Neglect background check in all states lived within previous 5 years, updated as required. Must obtain a negative TB Test yearly. Must be willing and able to obtain FBI fingerprint check every 5 years. Spanish language fluency required Must have valid driver's license and MVA check free of major infractions for the last 7 years.
